Shanghai, China |
In one week I stepped foot in four different airports. LAX-TPE, TPE-HKG, HKG-PVG, PVG-TPE. Too bad I only had a short time to enjoy the variety of interesting airport architecture. Still pretty awesome.

7-11 teriyaki chicken rice ball, sandwich, and tea [9/8/10] |

Michelle's noodles with tea egg [9/8/10] |
I should have been patient and waited until we got to the airport but I got hungry and bought my first meal in Taiwan at 7-11 before the bus ride to the airport. It was delicious. Food at convenient stores in asia is so good, unlike in the states.
Michelle on the other hand, waited out her hunger and ate noodles at the airport. I was jealous but didn't want to be a pig so I ordered one tea egg. I guess no one usually orders just one egg... so it took a lot of translating and with the help of our teacher (who was helping us get around), I got my tea egg. They even cut it in half for me. Sweeet.

Hong Kong airport, praying room [9/8/10] |
During my search for a smoking room to feed my cravings, I walked passed a praying room. Kind of ironic I suppose, but it was interesting. I didn't dare walk in but had to snap a picture because I've never seen one before.
This was just the beginning when I had no idea what I got myself into coming to China (good and crazy).
